Birthday + Sunday Round Up

On Monday, I went a little crazy and got some goodies which you'll eventually get to read about on Le Beauty School Drop Out in the next week-ish or so.

So, there's about 23 minutes left til my birthday is officially over! With hubby deployed, it has been a very quiet one, but I am overwhelmed by all the birthday wishes I received on Facebook, Instagram, emails, text messages and phone calls. The one that really kinda made me cry a little was an email from Dogsey, which is a forum for dogs, or about dogs, or something, I don't even remember having this account, but at least 20+ strangers sent me birthday wishes. Even though I didn't do anything grand this year, but the messages all made up for it. Just wish the hubby was here!

I woke up this morning, got dressed and even put makeup on! Took the dogs out and drove out to Bellevue to visit my 2 favorite Bellevuians and their Drive Thru Boba shop. They were really busy so I wasn't able to really talk to them. Drove all the way back, picked up a late lunch/early dinner at Qdoba since I received a birthday coupon for buy one entree, get one free. Never heard of Qdoba? It's pretty much just like Chipotle. Spent the rest of the day hanging out... skyped with my mom and my friend Jenny. And watched ABC Family since Toy Story is on :)



I don't post a lot of photos of myself, but here's me, I'm 29 and I just put on my first pair of false eyelashes! *WOOT WOOT*

Current Crush: Makeup

Danielle of Framed Frosting posted a current crush Thursday and my current crush is makeup. I usually never buy them, but I really blame Youtube and all the gurus I follow! Right now I am in love with Revlon's lip stain + balm. It's very pigmented, goes on smooth and the colors I chose look really great! These are really popular right now and I would recommend snagging up a few because the popular colors are vanishing off the shelves! I purchased Smitten which is like a cranberry color and Cherish is like a hot pinkish color. Both gorgeous in my opinion.

Etsy Haul: Dainty Heart Necklaces

I am in love with simple and dainty necklaces, BUT the huge problem with me is that when I go to Forever21, H&M and stores alike, I have the hardest time because I have a fat neck. Most dainty necklaces are about 15 to 16 inches long and when I put it on, it looks like a choker on me and personally, I look completely stupid. I have been surfing on Etsy for awhile, but they're pretty expensive and I'm kinda cheap haha I was lucky to find Laonato who has the cutest jewelry! Rings, Bracelets and Necklaces all for a pretty reasonable price. I purchased 2 heart necklaces, each extended a bit longer at no extra charge + shipping was still cheaper than one necklace I've seen on other Etsy stores. The shop owner of Laonato is really nice and I received it faster than I expected... considering it's shipped from Korea. LOVELOVELOVE my new necklaces and I can't wait to purchase more.
